Greater payment options coming to Manitoba WCB

CRFA Update
The Manitoba Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) will be introducing a new “FlexPay” option that allows more payment options for employers. Individual employers will be directly consulted before the new system is rolled out in 2014.
CRFA was also informed of a second WCB initiative – a three-phase project aiming to improve industry-focused prevention. A Stakeholder Advisory Committee, with significant employer participation, will drive the engagement phase and the ultimate report is expected in late 2012 or early 2013.
